Western Cars is a small rental company based at Anse Boileau, on the west coast of Mahé. We keep a modest fleet, look after it ourselves, and hand it over in person — at the airport, at the ferry, or at your door.

Three ways to get the keys.
Seychelles International Airport
We meet you in the arrivals area and hand the car over there. Give us your flight number when you book and we track it, so a delay does not cost you your car.
Inter Island Ferry
Collect or drop the car at the inter-island ferry terminal — useful if you are pairing Mahé with a few days on Praslin or La Digue.
Hotel or Guest House Delivery
We bring the car to your hotel or guest house anywhere on Mahé and collect it from the same place at the end of the rental.
Small on purpose.
7 models, 11 cars, in three sizes: economy, standard, premium. Economy cars for two people and a couple of bags, standard hatchbacks and sedans for a family, and higher-riding premium cars for the mountain roads and the rougher tracks in the south.
Because the fleet is small, the website books individual cars rather than a category — so a car you can select is a car we actually have free for your dates. If the model you wanted is gone, it is gone; you will not be handed something else on arrival.
What to bring.
A driving licence held for at least three years
Every driver must be at least 23. Bring the physical licence for each person who will drive; it must be with them at pickup.
Your passport or ID
We check it against the booking when we hand over the keys.
Security confirmed at handover
Western Cars will tell you which card or other security is needed when you collect the vehicle.
Rentals are charged per 24 hours from your pickup time. Returning within 15 minutes of that time adds nothing, and the price you are quoted while booking already counts your dates that way — no surprise line at the counter. Only returning later than you booked would add a day.
